Allison Murdock serves as managing partner of Stinson in Kansas City, leading the firm where she began her career 37 years ago. She has held progressively responsible leadership positions throughout her tenure, beginning as a young partner serving on and chairing the firm’s associate evaluation and associate development committees.

Murdock advanced to the firm’s board of directors and chaired one of its litigation divisions before being selected as deputy managing partner in July 2010. She assumed the role of managing partner in July 2021, bringing deep understanding of the firm’s culture, attorneys and business operations along with extensive client relationship experience.

Under her leadership, Stinson has pursued strategic growth initiatives, opening offices in Tampa in May 2023 and Los Angeles in March 2025 to better serve clients in California and Florida. The firm has also significantly expanded its New York City and Washington, D.C. offices.

Murdock focuses on ensuring attorneys and staff have resources needed to deliver exceptional client service while fostering collaboration and inclusiveness across all offices.
