Stephen Bardol is known among peers for being extremely professional and building relationships rather than creating confrontation. Bardol’s firm started as a general practice before becoming family-centric as it grew.
Bardol said he “specifically enjoyed helping people in difficult situations which drew me to complex cases and cases involving domestic violence.”
One memorable case involved a multi-year divorce representing a father fighting for custody of his daughter. After his client was falsely accused of physical abuse and a CAN case was opened, Bardol conducted thorough discovery, took depositions and arranged for his client to take a polygraph test. The CAN case was ultimately overturned, and his client was awarded joint custody.
