Norman E. Siegel is a partner at Stueve Siegel Hanson in Kansas City with 32 years of practice specializing in data breach, privacy litigation and consumer protection. He has served as court-designated lead counsel in numerous data breach multi-district litigations and secured the three largest data breach settlements in U.S. history.
Siegel’s notable achievements include the $1.5 billion Equifax settlement, $500 million T-Mobile settlement, and $190 million Capital One settlement. In insurance litigation, he delivered closing arguments resulting in a $34 million State Farm verdict and negotiated settlements totaling $474.75 million across cases against State Farm, John Hancock and USAA.
He co-founded his firm in 2001, which has grown to over 30 attorneys. Siegel serves on the board of the Public Justice Foundation and is a member of the American Law Institute.
