Steven Cockriel is managing partner of one of the St. Louis region’s top construction law firms. His involvement in construction disputes ranges from small residential construction to power plant development. Cockriel has often been recognized for his service to the industry, which includes negotiating contracts and serving his clients’ interests in issues involving payments, mechanic’s liens and performance bonds.
Cockriel is a member of the Missouri Bar’s construction law committee and the American Bar Association’s forum on the construction industry.
Recently Cockriel obtained a defense win for his client who was accused of installing defective concrete panels. Alper Audi was the client and an arbitrator had Forum Studio, one of the plaintiffs, pay the defendant $244,844.18 in legal fees.
