Jerry M. Hunter, senior counsel at BCLP, brings 48 years of labor and employment law expertise to his practice. Hunter began his career as a field attorney with the St. Louis National Labor Relations Board Regional Office before serving as senior trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s St. Louis District Office. He later served as director of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and general counsel of the NLRB.
In 1995, congressional leadership appointed Hunter to a four-year term on the Office of Compliance board of directors. He has testified before the Missouri General Assembly and U.S. Congress on pending legislation and served as an expert witness in federal and state courts. Hunter currently serves as chairman of the St. Louis board of election commissioners.
