David Dick, Thompson Coburn

Over his 30-year litigation career, David Dick has represented contractors, owners, and lenders in construction disputes, both prosecuting and defending claims, such as damage claims and mechanic’s liens. He also advises his clients on contracts and various other business matters.
He is recognized for his precedent-setting work. In Norfolk Southern v. Sorrell, he developed a challenge in trial and appellate courts for mandatory Missouri jury instructions and tried it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court where he prevailed.
He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri in 1993.
