If Sean Connelly wasn’t a lawyer, he says he’d be a professional baseball player. Even so, from a young age, he knew he always wanted to be an attorney.

“My mom would always watch this show called JAG and I thought the attorneys had the coolest job,” he says. “I thought the best way for me to help people would be by becoming an attorney. I believe I do that every day.” His biggest accomplishment this year, Connelly says, was having the most dismissals in his office with 53 cases being dismissed.

What has been your favorite moment as an attorney?

After I first chaired my first trial, the jury found my client not guilty on the most serious charges and guilty on low level felonies. It was exactly what we argued at trial and exactly what we asked the jury to do. Hearing the words “not guilty” will always be one of my favorite moments.

What is your favorite thing to do away from work?

Spend time with my dog, Korra, and spend time with my friends and family.
