Zach Bickel began his career as an associate under Susan Ford Robertson, an early pioneer of working solely as an appellate lawyer. When Robertson was asked to handle a pro bono case for an appellant at the Missouri Supreme Court, Bickel eagerly assisted. He said working on that case led to his interest in appellate law and eventually the founding of his partnership and friendship with his mentor.
Bickel centers his practice on researching and drafting pleadings for trial, assisting with jury instructions and serving as embedded appellate counsel.
He has worked on numerous complex, multi-million dollar cases with total verdicts well in excess of $500,000,000.
