Keenan confirmed to LSC board

Matthew Keenan, a partner at Shook, Hardy & Bacon in Kansas City, has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve on the board of directors of the Legal Services Corporation.
Keenan previously served as chair of Shook’s Pro Bono Committee for 8 years and currently serves on the board of Legal Aid of Western Missouri.
LSC is the single largest funder of civil legal aid for low-income Americans. It is headed by an 11-member board. Board members are appointed by the president and confirmed by the senate.
