The Simon Law Firm, St. Louis

simon John G. Simon is the managing partner of The Simon Law Firm, with a practice ranging from defective drugs and medical devices to medical malpractice.

Among his largest verdicts was a $105 million award in St. Louis in 2000 for a man who was injured when a truck tire he was inflating exploded. He also was part of the team that won an $18.3 million jury verdict for a young girl who suffered injuries from a rare disease after she was repeatedly brought to a St. Louis emergency room but wasn’t admitted, and a $47 million settlement in 2019 that resolved several cases stemming from a fatal boiler explosion in St. Louis’ Soulard neighborhood.

He is a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Inner Circle of Advocates. He serves on the board of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and is a past president of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.

Simon also is an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University School of Law, where he earned his law degree in 1986.
