The POWER List: Phyllis Norman-Komoroski

Norman is a past president of the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and also has served on the AWL Foundation’s board. She also is vice president of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Board of Directors, as well as a lawyer member (along with fellow POWER List honoree Kirk Presley) of the 16th Circuit Judicial Commission.
Norman was at Langdon & Emison from 2009 to 2014, where her trial work included a $23 million jury verdict in 2010 for a California woman severely injured in a Ford Explorer rollover crash.
Now with her own firm, her cases include representing the daughters of a couple who died while riding in a duck boat that capsized at Table Rock Lake in July 2018.
Norman is a 2003 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
