Rather than a lawyer-lobbyist, Tricia Workman can be described as a lobbyist-lawyer.
Workman began with the lobbying firm John Bardgett & Associates in 1995 and also served as chief of staff to former Lt. Gov. Joe Maxwell.
She earned her law degree at Saint Louis University in 2007 and joined the firm now known as Stinson as an associate. Her practice included administrative law and litigation as well as state government lobbying and regulatory matters.
In 2014, she formed a lobbying firm with fellow Stinson colleague Mike Gibbons, the former president pro tem of the Missouri Senate (and now a fellow POWER list honoree).
It has become one of the premier lobbying outfits in Jefferson City, with clients that include Associated General Contractors of Missouri, Bayer, Centene, John Deere, The Doe Run Company, Peabody Energy and the Missouri Charter Public Schools Association.
