Ryan Russell Kemper, Thompson Coburn

Known as a keen problem-solver for his clients, Ryan Kemper is co-chair of Thompson Coburn’s Environmental Law group and serves as lead counsel for clients in multiparty complex litigation, including multiple high-profile superfund cases.
In addition to his regulatory and counseling work on a myriad of environmental issues, he counsels clients on climate, ESG and environmental justice matters.
Kemper is a planning commissioner for the City of O’Fallon, Illinois, and a board member of the St. Clair County Special Emergency Services Association, a non-profit that assists first responders with highly specialized expertise and technical equipment during times of crisis.
