As Urban Outfitters decided where to put its 880,000-square-foot internet sales fulfillment and distribution center, Jensen was on a team of Stinson attorneys who negotiated incentives for its Kansas City, Kansas location.
Jensen previously chaired The Missouri Bar’s taxation law committee and frequently presents on tax law.
He has been a partner at Stinson since 1998. Jensen earned his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1983.
He assists clients in taxation at the local, state and federal level as well as business and estate planning. He has represented clients mired in civil tax controversies and criminal tax investigations. He also helps nonprofit corporations who seek help in their formation and in obtaining tax-exempt status.
Jensen previously served as vice president and treasurer on the board of directors of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra for nine years.
