Douglas D. Lee specializes in estate planning, probate and trust litigation, estate and trust administration, and guardianships and conservatorships. He co-authored the “Trust Contests” chapter of the Missouri Bar’s “Trusts, Powers, Custodianships, & Nonprobate” deskbook.
Lee, who has been practicing for 29 years, is a member of the Greene County Estate Planning Council and has served on several Missouri Bar committees. He formerly served as treasurer for the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association for several years. Throughout his career, Lee has worked with diverse clients ranging from a Pearl Harbor survivor to a United States Senator. He noted that his most memorable cases involve successfully addressing exploitation of the elderly.
