Kathleen R. Sherby specializes in retirement plan and IRA disposition planning to optimize beneficiary growth while minimizing income tax and maximizing asset protection.
Sherby served as president of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel from 2014-2015 and authored ACTEC comments on SECURE Act regulations. She was inducted into the National Association of Estate Planning Councils Hall of Fame in 2022 and the St. Louis University School of Law Hall of Fame in 2019.
She speaks regularly on national webcasts for the American Law Institute and at Missouri Bar and ACTEC seminars. Sherby has held leadership positions including chair of the Missouri Bar’s probate and trust committee and president of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.
