Senior Associate Attorney
Husch Blackwell
St. Louis

Maysa Daoud has developed a civil rights and pro bono practice over six years. As the first in her family to become an attorney, Daoud has made mentorship of first-generation and diverse law students central to her professional identity. Many students in the Midwest legal market have told her she is the first Arab or Muslim attorney they have met — a reality that reinforces her commitment to visibility and representation.

Outside her daily practice, Daoud is active in the Palestinian American Bar Association, the National Arab American Bar Association and a local St. Louis group of Muslim Women Attorneys, as well as her firm’s Asian American Pacific Islander Southwest Asian North African affinity group.

Her pro bono work includes civil rights cases; most recently, she secured a settlement on the eve of trial in the Eastern District of Missouri. She said her identity as a Palestinian Muslim woman guides the confidence, dedication and compassion she brings to each matter.
