Carol Davidson began her legal career as an associate in the labor and employment practice group at Bryan Cave before transitioning to a series of three St. Louis-based in-house attorney roles. Her in-house work centered on employment matters, advising people leaders and human resources, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition professionals.

In 2022, Davidson founded the St. Louis office of Latitude, a nationwide Chambers-ranked legal talent company. She noted that her longstanding interest in and curiosity about people drew her to a people-centric area of the law — work she now channels into helping in-house and law firm leaders remain optimally staffed while connecting attorneys with employment opportunities.

Davidson serves as chair of St. Louis Attorneys Against Hunger, a Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis initiative supported by the Saint Louis Bar Foundation that unites legal professionals to address hunger in the St. Louis metro area. She is also a community volunteer member of the Human Assets Committee of KIPP St. Louis.
