Michael Ketchmark is president and managing partner at Ketchmark & McCreight in Kansas City, where he exclusively represents plaintiffs in personal injury and business litigation. With 35 years of practice, Ketchmark has secured record-breaking jury verdicts that have driven significant industry reforms.
In 2023, he obtained a $1.78-billion verdict against the National Association of Realtors and major brokers in the Sitzer/Burnett case, leading to nationwide reform in how houses are bought and sold. In 2001, working with co-counsel Grant Davis, he secured a $2.2-billion verdict against pharmacist Robert Courtney for diluting chemotherapy drugs. He also won a $78-million verdict against Ford Motor Company in a wrongful death case.
