Partner, St. Louis

Jackson Glisson brings 30 years of experience to complex construction transactions, construction process counseling and dispute avoidance and resolution. He represents owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, lenders and material suppliers on projects ranging from health care and hospitality to energy, data centers and sports venues.

Glisson said his civil engineering background made the transition into law straightforward: “My background is in civil engineering, so construction law was a natural fit.” That technical foundation has proven particularly useful when working with experts and navigating complex plan sets.

Glisson has served as chair of both the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis Construction Law Committee and the Missouri Bar Association Construction Law Committee, as well as chair of the Supplier/Service Provider Council of the Associated General Contractors of Missouri and as a member of its board of directors. Looking ahead, he noted that construction labor shortages remain a root cause of many disputes, with modular and prefabricated construction continuing to emerge as industry responses.
