Gene Graham’s cases include a $6 million settlement in 2012 in an age-discrimination suit by a group of 36 former faculty members at a Kansas City community college, as well as a $57 million class action settlement with Sprint Nextel on age-discrimination claims in 2007.
He also helped secure a 2014 Missouri Supreme Court ruling that cleared the way for employees to sue if they are fired for filing a workers’ compensation claim, though lawmakers have since changed the standard.
The following year, Graham helped win another Supreme Court case that earned a new trial for a former employee of the Kansas City Chiefs.
