Kirstin Salzman, leader of Husch Blackwell’s corporate and securities and corporate governance teams, focuses on manufacturing, distribution and healthcare.
She most often handles deals valued between $25 and $500 million including representing an engineering company in the U.K. with the sale of its United States division for more than $100 million.
In one notable transaction, AMC Theatres planned a $1.1 billion stock and cash acquisition of Carmike Cinemas when the purchase fell through in the final hour. Later, a new AMC chief executive revived the deal, and Salzman managed a complex renegotiation allowing the acquisition to proceed.
She earned her law degree from Northwestern University in 1995.
