Michael Miller served as managing member of Lowther Johnson Attorneys at Law for seven years before transitioning to in-house counsel. He said, “I hope to be known within my legal community for leadership and banking knowledge.”
Miller developed expertise in financial institutions under attorney Lee Viorel’s mentorship, eventually representing multiple banks. He recently led development of a sabbatical program for long-term employees and a volunteerism policy.
Miller served as president of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association in 2019 and currently serves as president of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Foundation. He also served on the Missouri Bar Board of Governors from 2022 to 2024 and the Missouri Bankers Association Legislative Affairs Committee from 2020 to 2023.
