David B. Cosgrove is managing member at Cosgrove Simpson in Clayton with 32 years of legal practice. He began his career in commercial litigation at Stinson in 1990 before serving as prosecuting attorney and commissioner of securities for the State of Missouri.
Cosgrove founded Cosgrove Law in 2009, which matured into Cosgrove Simpson over 16 years. His firm advocates for investors with mismanaged portfolios and financial industry professionals in disputes with employers or regulators, handling business disputes with emphasis on non-compete litigation. He has represented individuals and companies nationwide in securities matters for over 20 years, obtaining multi-million dollar awards for defamed financial advisors. He currently serves on committees for the Public Investor Advocate Bar Association and The Missouri Bar.
