Joe Jacobson won two important Missouri Supreme Court cases involving banks that engaged in the unauthorized practice of law by charging document preparation fees. In 2011, he was a finalist for a seat on the court.
His wins include a $53 million settlement in 2014 for a group of former pilots who lost seniority after their airline was sold. The following year, he won $5.6 million for a group of attorneys who sued their general partner in a real estate investment, as well as $1.3 million for four plaintiffs in a business dispute with a payday lender.
